"In my eyes, I knew I needed change in my life. I was going nowhere. The nightlife, while playing professional football in the NFL was leaving me empty. I went to church, but still was feeling empty. Then it all came together for me. On January 10, 1995, I walked into my bedroom and got down on my knees and accepted Christ into my life. Today, I no longer feel empty inside because my life has been changed. If you have a passion for anything you do, you are going to find success. But true success is finding and living a life of passion for Jesus Christ.”

"It was March of 1991 when I was at a crossroads in my life. The only thing of importance at that time was football - and it was being taken away from me because of injuries. Everything I had worked so hard for was disappearing right before my eyes. In 14 months I had broken my right foot twice, and my left foot twice.
After thoughts of suicide, I called my dad. He simply said, "Son, Jesus loves you and He'll never leave you nor forsake you." That night I asked Jesus to be my best friend, Lord, and Savior, and surrendered my life into his hands. To this day, I find peace in that decision, a peace that only Jesus could have given me."

"I retired from professional football in order to do what I'm doing now: To share the Good News of the Gospel, so that others may come to salvation through Jesus Christ. I grew up basically a good kid, raised in a good home. I always had the dream of playing professional football. Growing up, I was always told that I was too small and skinny and that I would never achieve my goal. When I was 13 years old, I asked Christ into my heart. Through HIM, I was able to overcome the many obstacles I encountered in pursuit of my dream. God gave me the strength I needed to achieve my goal of playing professional football and the strength I needed to live for Him."
The Lord gave us the vision to start PROSHARE in 2011.
We've seen nothing but blessings since, as we have been privileged to see so many respond to the Gospel.
A very special thanks goes to the chaplains who continue to be so accommodating and supportive in facilitating our outreaches. These wonderful brothers and sisters also carry the significant but exciting opportunity to follow up with the many new believers in Christ.
Acknowledgement and thanks are also due to the men and women who served so faithfully at Helping Hands Thrift Store, PROSHARE's founding organization. The store closed in 2018 after 8 years, but the results of the service rendered by our wonderful staff will echo through eternity with each soul saved.
